What is a Terry Award?

As you can see its above, and once a year we have a annual Terry Awards presentations where we give them out to chatters from aol and gay.com.

Why you ask?

TO build a community that enjoys each others company and a place to feel like a star even if it is just for one night.

How do you become a nominee and a possible winner?

All you have to do is go to the gay.com chat rooms either in the South or North M4M rooms and chat, this also goes for aolers and the West VA M4M room there.

Who chooses the nominees?

Anyone can. It really has to do with who I see chatting in the appropriate categories. I just write me a list throughout the month and add you at the beginning of the following month.

How do you vote?

Just go to the vote caster on the front page of the magazine, Http://www.wvasqueernews.com and clear to the bottom of it, where it says VOTE CASTER and pick the person who you believe to represent the category the best.

Why should you?

So, you can be a part of one of the largest events in the tri-state. Last year, we jam packed Utopia and are sure to do it again this year at our choice place for the ceremony.

The monthly awards are what gives us our nominees for the year end awards. The Emmy's have nothing on WV Queer NEws, Terry Awards!! (EG)
